The full-size keyboard measures 16.9 x 4.9 x 0.6 inches and considers just under a pound. Contempt its name, only the bottom half of the framework remains stainless steel (the top half and keys are plastic), but this gives it a durable feel that’s missing from most thin-and-light keyboards. That means you can get away with throwing out your laptop bag occasionally, even though the thing remains primarily designed for desktops.
The keyboard Hibernates
The HW192 remains powered through a single rechargeable lithium battery that takes 3-5 hours to charge fully. Arteck claims the battery determination last six months per charge based on two hours of continuous daily use. The keyboard hibernates when not in use for several minutes and comes back to life with the touch of a key.

Typing on this full-size keyboard textures smooth and natural.
You grow a total of 18 hotkeys: all 12 function keys that double as media controls, plus a half-dozen dedicated buttons that go from My Computer and desktop access to search, print screen, lock screen, pause, and check. Drums. Above these are a series of power indicator lights; UPPERCASE, number and Fn lock, and battery charge.
connectivity
The HW192 comes with a USB dongle and connects via 2.4GHz RF. My computer recognized the HW192 as soon utilizing I inserted the dongle and turned on the keyboard.
Although the HW192 remains designed for Windows computers,
I might also connect it to my Mac. How ever, I could only use about half of the hotkeys, including playback, brightness settings, and switching windows. The rest were either inactive or incorrectly assigned to other macOS features. However, the dedicated Windows key worked just fine as the Mac’s CMD key.

The stainless steel chassis gives the keyboard a durable feel missing from most thin and light models.
writing sensation
The keyboard is quite roomy, with enough space between the keys that your fingers don’t feel cramped. With the full-size layout, the keyboard felt as familiar as my computer’s native one, and touch typing was smooth and natural.
I found the HW192 very comfortable to use. It doesn’t have drop-down legs but molds into a small rim at the top. That provides just enough incline so that my wrists rest naturally in the ergonomically neutral position with my fingers on the home row. The low-profile keys have a good quantity of travel that gives the lie to the HW192’s ultra-slim chassis and rely equally on soft taps and clicks for tactile feedback.
Verdict
The HW192 may not have a modern ergonomic design or multi-device compatibility, but it is a current keyboard. Anyone looking to trade their existing slab for something more streamlined and sexy should find it a seamless transition.
